COMUNICACION OFICIAL IFBB SOBRE EL MEETING DE LOS WG

 La asociación internacional Juegos Mundiales, durante su meeting general anual de 26 de abril de 2010 en Dubái, UAE, voto la suspensión provisional de la IFBB.

 La IFBB continúa siendo miembro de la Asociación de los Juegos Mundiales de la que es socio fundador.

Previamente el comité Ejecutivo de los WG, y su presidente, el Sr Ron Froehlich, fracasaron en su intento de excluir a la IFBB de la afiliación a este organismo. La IFBB está apelando esta suspensión a la Corte de Arbitraje, no teniendo más comentarios que hacer por el momento.

 La IFBB es signataria del Código de la WADA, estando confirmado por la WADA que sus normas están en línea con el Código.

IFBB OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON WORLD GAMES MEETING

 Dear President / General Secretary:

The International World Games Association, on the occasion of its Annual General Meeting on April 26, 2010 in Dubai, UAE, voted to provisionally suspend the IFBB.

In an earlier vote, the IWGA Executive Committee, headed by IWGA President Ron Froehlich, failed in their bid to terminate the IFBB’s membership.  

The IFBB is appealing the suspension decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.  Until this court issues a finding, the IFBB has no further comment.

The IFBB is a Signatory to the WADA Code and its anti-doping rules are confirmed by WADA to be in line with the Code.
